Steven Suminski is a freelance trombonist in the greater Los Angeles area. He regularly performs with orchestras across California, serving as Principal Trombone with The Riverside County Philharmonic, Symphony Silicon Valley, Ballet San Jose and the Santa Monica Symphony. Suminski has appeared with many other groups including the San Francisco Opera, Santa Barbara Symphony, Fresno Philharmonic, Berkeley Symphony, and the San Bernardino, and Redlands Symphonies.  

In addition to playing, Steven

maintains an active private studio and proudly serves on the faculty of the Pasadena Conservatory of Music, having previously taught for the Young Musicians Foundation's Mentor Artist Program and National Orchestra Camp.
