Chuck Koontz has been in the Los Angeles area his entire life.  He received his Bachelor of Music degree from Biola University and has since been freelancing in Los Angeles.  He is a regular member of Brass Pacifica, the Burbank Philharmonic and Novo Philharmonic.  He has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, the Riverside Philharmonic and many other orchestras in the area.  Chuck is married to Faith and they have three boys, Peter (born 2003), Caleb (born 2005) and Joel (born 2009).  The Koontz family lives in La Mirada and they are actively involved at Grace EV Free Church.
